Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is maintained by the BudgetReal developer to explain how the BudgetReal mobile app collects, uses, and protects your information. BudgetReal is developed by a solo/indie developer and is available on iOS and Android.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to provide the app's features:

• Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the authentication details Apple chooses to share with us.
• Financial entries: The income, expenses, assets, and liabilities you enter are stored locally on your device and associated with your account so they can be synced or restored.
• App usage: We collect limited usage information needed to operate and improve the app, such as app crashes and basic performance data.
• Purchase status: We track whether you have purchased BudgetReal Pro to remove ads and unlock lifetime access.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and authenticate your account
• Store and sync your financial entries across your devices
• Process and restore in-app purchases
• Show relevant ads in the free version of the app
• Fix bugs, improve performance, and understand how the app is used
• Send important service updates or respond to your support requests

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Third-party services

BudgetReal uses a small number of third-party services to power authentication, ads, and purchases:

• Supabase handles email and password sign-in, Sign in with Apple, and cloud storage of your budget data. Supabase may process your email address, authentication tokens, and synced financial entries according to its own privacy practices.
• Google AdMob serves ads in the free version of the app. AdMob may collect device and usage data to show personalized or non-personalized ads. You can remove ads by purchasing BudgetReal Pro.
• RevenueCat processes and validates in-app purchases, including the one-time Pro upgrade. RevenueCat may collect purchase identifiers and transaction status.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and operates independently. We recommend reviewing their policies if you want more detail.

Data retention

We keep your account and financial data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your data from our systems within a reasonable time, unless we are required to keep it for legal or security purposes. Some data may remain in device backups until those backups are updated or deleted.

Your rights

You can access, update, or delete the financial data you enter directly in the app. To permanently delete your entire account and associated data, open the Profile tab and tap Delete account. You can also contact us at deccoo.prog@gmail.com if you need help.

Children's privacy

BudgetReal is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
